I am not able to hear any sound from the playing music, i was wondering if there is anything that it set up wrong or any preferences anywhere, also would it be possible to have a modification so the ui looks more like the known and loved iTunes, like the next track extra being at the top with maybe artwork.
Thanks
Ryan

I'm afraid perhaps you misunderstand the purpose of TuneConnect: TuneConnect is an iTunes remote control, not a tool to remotely access a remote library (iTunes already has that functionality built-in). The sound will not be playing through the computer that TuneConnect is installed on, but rather through the computer that has the iTunes library you are controlling.

The premise is that, if, for instance, you have a Mac connected to some good speakers that you want to play your music through, but you want to lay in bed and not get up to constantly keep changing what's playing in iTunes, you can use another Mac (or soon, iPhone/iPod Touch) to remotely control that copy of iTunes. If in your copy of TuneConnect, the progress bar is moving, then the music is playing somewhere, just perhaps not where you expect it to be. ;)

As for modifying the UI to closer resemble iTunes, iTunes and TuneConnect have different purposes, and therefore have different UI's. TuneConnect 1.1 very closely resembled iTunes, but I purposely dumped it in 2.0 (and thereby, 2.1) because it was not optimized for the unique, discrete job that TuneConnect had to perform.

Thanks for the feedback, and good luck. :)
